Members
The shippers are companies seeking a solution for the transport of their goods or freight on the domestic or international market, by air, sea or road.
The carriers are forwarding agents, shipping and airlines companies, road hauliers and express companies.
Registration is free. There are no subscription fees, joining fees or commissions.

Contacts
Our search engine matches requests and offers.
The shipper selects keywords relating to his needs: countries, states-province, type of goods, services or materials required. Using the keywords recorded by the carrier when registering and his activity profile, the shipper gets a list.

Quotations
The shipper selects a maximun of 3 providers from this list and fills in a quotation request form. This request is e-mailed to the carriers selected.

The carriers receive the quotation request and completes it with his tariff details. The reply is e-mailed to the shipper. The carrier can refuse to reply or transfer.

Booking
If satisfied with the reply from the carrier, the shipper fills in the booking form with the original quotation along with contractual details. The booking is sent by e-mail.
The carrier is free to accept or refuse the booking.
Notification that the goods have been dispatched is transmitted in the same way.

Web-collaboration (2008)
Enables two members to work together interactively by sharing their screens and negociate about their contract.
Transport Marketplace members do not need to pre-install any tools or software.

The CARRIER is credited with 50 credits for FREE on registering.
He receives 50 credits for introducing a new member.
Responding a quotation request from NEW contact costs 20 credits.
Responding a quotation request from KNOWN contact costs 2 credits.
Receiving and following up bookings costs 2 credits.
Credits can be purchased on the site, where a record of past transactions is available : credit history.
When payment for services is made by Paypal, the account is credited with an equivalent amount (in credits).
Carriers and shippers are invited to get Coface @rating, before contracting.
